Berlin powerhouse, Thomas Schumacher supplies the goods. He's one of the best DJs and producers based in the capital of techno, Berlin. Kicking off his career in the early 90s, Schumacher has become one of the longest enduring artists in the game. If you've been anywhere near a techno party you would've heard his tunes, that feature across a range of top tier labels including Noir, ARTS & Electric Ballroom. He recently featured on Drumcode's infamous A-Sides compilation with 'The Unseen' and is about to drop his latest release; Apollo II with his partner in crime, Victor Ruiz. Touching down in London for Familia's 6th Birthday celebration on November 10th at Egg LDN, he'll perform one of his masterclass techno sets. His in depth knowledge of techno shines through his sets making them ones not to be missed! Burning Bridges is the latest artist to be championed on DJ Heather's Apollo Music Group, which is a label she runs with Dan X and Lil' Mark. London's biggest release their 2018 winter lineups and it's looking big. GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: BURNING BRIDGES Printwork's has finally released their shows for the autumn/winter season. They've got 25 events sorted between September 29th and New Year's Day. Set to be the biggest season at the venue yet, artists performing include Bicep, Sven Vath, Armand Van Helden, Jeff Mills, and Deadmau5. The upcoming events will build on the huge impact Printworks has already had in London's clubland. Delivering another ambitious programme, loads of top acts and DJs will be coming through watching Printworks handing the stage over to Sven Vath, The Black Madonna, Deadmau5, Bugzy Malone, and Nina Kraviz. Previous offerings from Apollo Music Group have featured a broad spectrum of artists including the label owners themselves alongside Hector Moralez, Lauren Flax, Mikey V, Justin Harris and many others. The latest artist to be welcomed by the label is Burning Bridges who has previously featured on Sampled Detroit run by Chuck Daniels, where two of the tracks contributed by him also landed on a compilation released on Carl Craig's Planet E Communications. Burning Bridges seems to be turning heads right now and his new EP on Apollo Music Group showcases his techy sound driven by low-end frequencies. Each of the tracks has their own unique flavour with infectious bass hooks and catchy vocal samples sandwiched between crisp percussion and sequenced with clinical precision, but each has a party vibe with bouncy grooves and underground moods.
