14 AND THIS IS THE CONFIDENCE THAT
WE HAVE IN HIM, THAT, IF WE ASK ANY
THING ACCORDING TO HIS [WORD], HE
HEARETH US:
15 AND IF WE KNOW THAT HE HEAR US,
WHATSOEVER WE ASK, WE KNOW THAT
WE HAVE THE PETITIONS THAT WE DE-
SIRED OF HIM.
14 SEEING THEN THAT WE HAVE A GREAT
HIGH PRIEST, THAT IS PASSED INTO THE
HEAVENS, JESUS THE SON OF GOD, LET
US HOLD FAST OUR PROFESSION [OR
CONFESSION].
14 INASMUCH THEN AS WE [BELIEVERS]
HAVE A GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO HAS
[ALREADY ASCENDED AND] PASSED
THROUGH THE HEAVENS, JESUS THE SON
OF GOD, LET US HOLD FAST OUR CONFES-
SION [OF FAITH AND CLING TENACIOUSLY
TO OUR ABSOLUTE TRUST IN HIM AS
SAVIOR].
What if the woman had quit? She would
not be in the Bible.
The pressure to give up is in the mind.
That's where the decision to quit or not
is made. The mind receives its input to
quit from feelings like pain, etc., in the
physical body. Mental pain from
financial pressure and family problems,
causing depression, are very real. I
know. I've been there. None of those,

on The WORD of God.
Let's look at 1 John 5:14-15:
He just got through saying in verse 4,
that the victory that overcomes the
world is our faith. Faith comes by
hearing, and hearing by The WORD of
God. Now, throw 1 John 4:4 in there,
and shout in the devil's face: "THE
GREATER ONE LIVES IN ME! I
CANNOT BE DEFEATED, AND I WILL
NEVER QUIT!"
In the light of all this, it's very obvious
why Hebrews 4:14 says:
Now look at the same verse in the
Amplified Bible:
What? Hold fast!
"I'm harvesting a crop of healing for my
body."
OK, your confession of faith is your
combine and the power of the Holy
Spirit, the mighty Engine bringing your
words to pass. You will hear, "Daughter,
or son, your faith has made you whole."
