With its wide spread flora and fauna enticing many people to discover the country whether it be hitchhiking in the mountains, visiting small villages in the Amazonas area, or lying on the beach and partying in one of the bigger cities, Brazil has a lot to offer! We recommend seeing the world famous modern buildings such as the Teatro Amazonas in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. And if you're in the city, venturing out and exploring the exquisite nightlife at the many bars and parties. Food Expand your horizons and test out some beautiful Brazilian cuisine. Beach Everyone loves sun, sand and sea and the beaches in Brazil really are a must. Some are perfect for diving, while others cater to surfers with strong waves! Although they are consistently popular, they are especially so during the carnival season with Rio's Copacabana beach and Ipanema being packed out with beautiful bodies. Carnivals are celebrated all over Brazil, but the biggest and most famous one takes place in Rio. The carnival attracts thousands of people from all over the world and is a celebration that lasts four days. It is certainly a spectacle you ought to see at least once in your life. The costumes, music, and dancing are only some of the experiences you will never forget! Party Circo Loco are bringing Ibiza to South America for some mad parties. Circo Loco is a clubbing brand from Ibiza founded over a decade ago. In January 2013 they dared to cross the Atlantic and will delight cities like Bahia, Sao Paulo and Rio with their outstanding vibe. Starting in the north, they will move south in February joining the carnival festivities in Rio and later in March going on to Sao Paulo. The events are taking place in fantastic locations with big musicians like DJ Sneak, Maceo Plex, DJ W!LD, and Cassy. So break out of that comfort zone and travel far and wide because Circo Loco parties are off the hook! White rice, black beans, and flour is what you will most likely be eating during your adventurous trip to Brazil as the three ingredients are used in most dishes, in different ways to bring a cultural taste to all meals. You'll probably be on the move constantly though, which is why we recommend lanchonete's! These cafe like bars offer you quick food while maintaining the cultural taste to offer you Brazil on the go. Whether you decide to take your time or have a quick meal, don't be shy to try everything you can, from Barreado to Caruru! Culture With a population of 190 million this melting pot of culture is fascinating from every view point. If you're in Rio, take a tour of the Favelas and see how the poor live right beside the rich; it is eye opening. No matter where you are from, fitting in is a breeze as a friendly mentality is shared amongst the people. Culture surrounds you in the beaches, villages, and historic buildings, meaning you can look forward to new experiences and making friends while having them!
