Introduction If they are to survive and thrive in the future, organisations across the Nordic region must transform operations and business models using new digital capabilities. This places even greater emphasis on the need to innovate, as well as the need for skills and people that support this process. How this relates to specific organisations, their people and their industry, is key. The real challenge is knowing how to maximise innovation within the parameters of your own business. Now in its third year, IDC has again conducted one of the largest surveys on HR and business in Europe. Over 1,900 respondents from HR, business and IT across 14 European countries have enabled IDC to define four key innovator archetypes, defined by product and service innovation, as well as process innovation.
