I'm thrilled to announce that this year will be the largest NARCE event since its inception in 2003, with registration for the 10 educational courses and the two-day RINK Expo trade show hitting all-time highs. The best part about this industry-leading event is the opportunity it affords our members from all corners of the country to interact with each other face to face. If you haven't registered for a course at NARCE this year, you might want to at least consider getting a pass to attend the trade show so you don't miss the chance to network with hundreds of your ice rink industry peers. If you aren't able to make it to NARCE in May, hopefully we will see you and your colleagues at one of our Regional Training Programs located closer to your home this summer. Course information, dates and locations are included in this month's issue, starting on page 29. This information and online registration is also available on the web at usicerinks.com/education. Regardless of whether or not you participate in one of our training programs this year, I encourage you to invest in some form of ongoing professional development for yourself and/or for those that work for you. The knowledge you gain and people you meet through continuing education is invaluable, and far outweighs the time and expense associated with doing so. As always, I hope you enjoy this issue of RINK Magazine. RINK is meant to be a valuable resource for you and the entire ice arena industry, so if you have any feedback, positive or negative, please don't hesitate to reach out to give me your thoughts at jefft@usicerinks.com. Best regards, — Jeff Theiler, Chief Operating Officer, United States Ice Rink Association This year will be the largest NARCE event since its inception in 2003. , Can't make it to NARCE?
