The Thing About Hockey
Hockey sets my day alight,
And gives me a huge appetite.
I never want to be done,
'Cause it's really fun.
The speed, the fun, the fight.
Kids racing, racing, on the ice,
Some players aren't very nice.
Fighting for the puck,
Sometimes you get stuck.
I get a little bruised, but it's a small price.
'Cause my face always has a smile.
We love this sport, even if it's hard,
But soon we'll be in the final.
