STEPHENS RECOVERING
After undergoing surgery
in January to fix the torn labrum in his right shoulder that
cut short his senior season,
Purdue signee Kendall Stephens said he's on track to be
fully recovered in time for his
June enrollment.
"I'm still getting my range
of motion to where it's 100 percent before I can start lifting
and getting the strength back,"
said Stephens, the 6-foot-5
shooting guard from St. Charles
East in Chicagoland. "I think we
have about another week-anda-half before I can really start
strengthening it. Now I'm just
trying to loosen it up and everything's going well, I think.
"They expect me back
by June, but they told me it
would be anywhere from three
months to six months, so hopefully around April, maybe even
March, I'll be able to shoot
