Josear Carrasco Recovering From Accident
SCORE motorcycle racer Josear Carrasco was involved in a hit and run accident on August 10, 2019 during a local motorcycle race in Mexico. According to the Carrasco family, he is currently in a trauma hospital in San Diego, California undergoing several surgeries for his injuries. Carrasco finished second in the Ironman division at the SCORE Baja 500 and has a large fan base in Mexico and the United States. The entire SCORE International family and SCORE fans sends their prayers and best wishes to the Carrasco family. A Go-Fund Me page has been started for the family. to help pay for medical expenses.
Polaris Launches 2020 RZR Pro XP
Polaris’ involvement in off-road racing has led to the evolution of its newest RZR Pro XP side-by-side for the 2020 model year. The RZR Pro XP has improved safety features such as an adjustable six-point retractable harness and a stronger one-piece frame with no bolts. Performance is enhanced with a new ProStar 181 horsepower engine and a new clutch design that allows for more air to pass through for better cooling. The drivetrain is also beefier with stronger axles that the company says are 8x stronger than previous models, a stronger transmission and a 3x stronger front drive.
Suspension travel is also improved with the new RZR Pro XP. With a 96-inch wheel base and a width of 64-inches, Polaris upgraded the suspension with 14.5 inches of ground clearance and 22-inches of suspension travel, using Fox 2.5 Podium Live Valve Shocks.
