The completion of the Irish Athletic
Center is considered Phase I of the op-
eration. Phase II is still down the road
in terms of blueprints, and could in-
volve a direct walkway from the Gug-
lielmino Athletics Complex, which
is less than a football field across the
street, and other amenities that could
include kitchen/nutrition. ✦
Many of the school's basic tenets are featured inside the Irish Athletic Center, which measures 111,400
square feet overall.
The program's identity and cornerstones are highlighted on the second floor, and so are its past history in major bowl games and national titles.
Landscaping around the Irish Athletic Center was among the finishing touches this August for the new facility that is east of the Joyce Center and just south,
or across the street, from the Guglielmino Athletics Complex.
