w w w. m r c y. c o m Security and Data Protection Mercury SSDs are dedicated to securing data at rest. Some of the technologies employed include: • Encryption - AES-256 XTS Block Cypher • Multiple Key Management modes • Fast Purge - Technology that renders data forensically unrecov- erable in less than 30ms • Fast Clear - Complete NAND Flash erase • Fast Sanitization with validation - Supports all popular Secure military protocols • FIPS 140-2 and CC (CSfC) certified models • Digitally signed firmware updates • Support for customized form factors and AT At the heart of our security features is the Armor® Flash Processor. The Armor Flash Processor was developed by Mercury at our DMEA trusted facility in the United States. Controlling the intellectual property for the Flash processor allows Mercury to eliminate controller End-Of-Life (EOL) risks, an important consideration for today's long life defense applications. With the Mercury Armor Processor, data is always in an encrypted state in the SSD. The Armor Flash processor provides both the capabilities and flexibility needed to meet the most demanding of mission critical applications. In addition, being firmware-driven, the Armor processor can be customized and updated as needed. Choose from a variety of rugged form factors The need for secure SSDs spans many applications. To meet this varying need, Mercury offers a selection of form factors. 2.5 Inch 9.5 mm Solid State Drives Using high-endurance SLC NAND flash and high capacity MLC NAND flash for large data storage, these SSDs are designed for outstanding reliability, performance and security for applications in rugged environments. Drive capacities include 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. These drives are ideal for applications including: • Surveillance • Data recorders • Field computers • Digital map storage • GPS and communications systems • Storage Area Networks BGA SSD Small Form Factor These SSDs leverage the latest in small geometry SLC and TLC NAND flash operating in SLC mode providing a space savings of 60% over a similar design on the PCB. This makes it perfect for embedded defense applications where a full sized 2.5" storage device is too large. The BGA SSDs feature encryption, authentication, anti-tamper and self-destruct features in a single module. The SLC is available in 64 GB capacity with a SATA interface. The TLC variants are available in 80GB and 160GB with either a SATA or NVMe interface. These SSDs are designed for applications including: • Single board computer boot device • Ruggedized mobile defense systems • Battlefield robotics • Data recorders and digital maps • Industrial automation • Transportation systems • Mobile secure medical products
