nother publishing year comes to an end with this issue of RINK Magazine. The objective of RINK has always been to be the definitive publication for the ice rink industry and the individuals who work in it. We strongly believe that this objective has been achieved since the United States Ice Rink Association took over ownership of the publication in 2006. (see photo on left) However, we have a mantra at the U.S. Ice Rink Association, which is: "There is always room for improvement," and RINK Magazine is no exception. We are always looking for ways to keep the magazine fresh and relevant. If you have an article idea, would be interested in contributing an article, or know someone that would be interested in contributing, then please drop us a line. RINK is intended to be informational, educational and enjoyable to read. If you don't think an issue has delivered these three things, please let us know. Putting together every issue of RINK is a large undertaking, and could not be done by our staff alone. Without the helpful feedback from our readers, the direction from our editorial board, the contributions from our authors, the expertise of our publisher, and support from our advertisers, RINK would not be the magazine it is today. I would like to thank everyone who has supported the production of the magazine this year and in the past. I hope you enjoy this issue of RINK, and I wish you a safe and prosperous holiday season. — Jeff Theiler, Chief Operating Officer, United States Ice Rink Association Opening ADDRESS Welcome from Jeff Theiler 12 / NOVEMBER.DECEMBER.2019 USICERINKS.COM How Are We Doing?
