A NOTHER YEAR IS NEARLY IN THE BOOKS—AND WHAT A YEAR IT WAS. We had a particularly great 2019 Regional Training Program season, with locations scattered through- out the country. This year we had 15 different classes held in 11 different cities from April to October (not including our main event, the North American Rink Conference and Expo in Buffalo, N.Y.). The 2019 season isn't quite over yet. This winter we'll be offering our Safe Ice Resurfacer Operator class in several states, as well as our brand new Management Workshop. Check out usicerinks.com for more information on each of those. Also this December, all Facility Members will be sent an application to host in 2020. Locations are selected by a variety of criteria, including proximity to other rinks, strength of application, number of staff that will register for class, availability of ice (if necessary), and average cost of hotel accommodations in the area.
