(10%) and even paying back
family and friends (14%) being
the first areas of spend
according to a survey from
digital bank Current.
Additionally,
consumers spent
on non-essentials
across categories.
RetailMeNot observed a strong
overall increase in demand
(19%+ WoW) from prior week.
The Wednesday - Saturday
following the stimulus check
deposit saw even greater
demand, sales and order
increases.
