▪ The Social Security Fund is expected to support a
million people who are temporarily out of work with a
164 billion baht unemployment fund. Additionally
there is a 90 billion baht fund for other workers who
are now unemployed.
▪ Schools were closed from Mid-March and are not due
to open again until July.
▪ Businesses that are required to close do not need to
pay employees, but employers who decide to cease
operations must pay 75% of wages.
