of April, 36K Ukrainians
registered for unemployment support.
▪ The Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry has
estimated that unemployment will be at its highest for
the last 15 years - between 13.7% and 15.4%.
▪ Employers are able to instruct employees to work
remotely or take vacation.
▪ Lockdown including the closure of schools, cafes,
entertainment establishments and restrictions on
transport have been in place since Mid-March and
expected to carry through to May.
