SCORE announces new dates for 52nd BFGoodrich Tires SCORE BaJa 500 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts SCORE International has announced new dates and a different venue for the 52nd BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500, presented by 4 Wheel Parts. In response to information and forecasts for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation with Mexican authorities, as well as race teams and sponsors, the SCORE Baja 500 Presented by 4 Wheel Parts will be held in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico from Sept. 22-27. The event will include qualifying for SCORE Trophy Truck, SCORE TT Legend, Class 1 and the Trophy Truck Spec classes to be held midway through race week. Finishing positions from this race will determine start positions for the 53rd BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000, Presented by 4 Wheel Parts. The results of both races will define the point titles for the 2020 SCORE World Desert Championship. SCORE BaJa 1000 Voted As Top 10 USA Today’s Off-Road Motorsports Events The SCORE Baja 1000 race was nominated as one of the races for USA Today’s 10-Best Readers Choice Awards for Top Race Event In North America. In 2016 and 2017 the SCORE Baja 1000 won the top spot as USA Today’s Top Motorsports Event. This year, 2020, was the third time the race was nominated to compete. After four weeks of voting, the SCORE Baja 1000 finished in second place in a field of 18 motorsports race events, but was ranked higher than all other off-road racing venues that were nominated. “SCORE International thanks all of its fans, racers and off-road enthusiasts who participated in the voting process,” says Jim Ryan SCORE Marketing Director. “The race is still the oldest, toughest, and most prestigious off-road race in the world, that attracts racers from other motorsports to participate and challenge their skills.” Speed Vegas Adds Extreme Off-Road Driving Experience Las Vegas, Nevada’s extreme driving experience now adds the ultimate off-road vehicle to their line of exotics and sports cars. Known for their 1.5 mile track with 12 challenging turns and no speed limits, Speed Vegas offers guests the chance to drive a variety of exotic supercars, muscle cars, and sports cars. The company recently added a 1.4-mile off-road track with 14-turns and eight jumps, 40-degree banks and 100-feet of elevation change.
