Cuisine Of Ensenada What better excuse to visit a place where your promise is to find delicious food? Ensenada is known internationally as a creative gastronomic city, thanks to chefs and their entire team who have been working to put the city’s name on the map through their unique cuisine. Besides the excellent restaurants, the street food is not far behind, in fact, you will be surprised with the great quality and flavor that will make you order one more round. When you visit Ensenada, fresh seafood is a must in its different presentations. Here we show you three options for seafood and one more in case you need to switch to some meat, you can’t miss it! For starters, try the famous sea urchin ceviche with clams at La Guerrerense, quite famous since its appearance on Anthony Bourdains’ No Reservations. The cart is located on First Street, on the corner of Alvarado Street. Doña Sabina, the owner, will be happy to recommend the different options on the menu. And if you are a little curious, don’t be shy and try the homemade sauces! Some are spicy but incredible. Still in the malecon area, we can find Mariscos El Güero, definitely a cart to taste beautiful fresh seafood such as cocktails, toasts, aguachiles, clams and more. You will find them on Blvd Costero at the corner of Alvarado Street. Now we move a few blocks away from the Malecon area to find the glorious Tacos Don Zefe fish tacos, located on Riveroll Ave. on the corner with Calle Cuarta. The delicious shrimp and fried fish tacos are waiting for you, and you definitely won’t have enough of one. Finally, Carnitas Hermanos Ramirez is the place you need if you want a change from seafood to meat. There you can sit back and relax while enjoying carnitas or chicken tacos, both well made, juicy and tasty. You can find them on Riveroll Avenue at the corner of Second Street. We hope that these places will make you very happy when you visit Ensenada, and if you already know some of them but you wish to have new findings, do not forget to visit our map where you will find incredible places to visit. Go to www.ensenada.travel/en/gastronomy/; and if you are walking in Ensenada and you see a food stand with a lot of people, don’t be afraid and try something from the menu, you will surely not regret it.
