DENVER CATHOLIC | SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER, 2020
Colorado is one of seven states that allows
abortions up until the moment of birth.
70% of Americans believe there should be
some restrictions on abortions.
(c)
96% of biological scientists say life begins
at fertilization.
(d)
Approximately 300 babies are aborted
after 21 weeks' gestation every year in
Colorado, which means hundreds of lives
could be saved each year if late-term
abortions ceased.
(e)
Preborn babies are viable (can live outside
the womb) at 22-weeks gestation.
(f)
There is scientific evidence that a 22-
week human fetus demonstrates all the
fundamental characteristics of more
developed humans, including the ability to
perceive pain and perform sophisticated
behaviors.
Contrary to what many proponents of late-
term abortion argue, the majority of late-
term abortions are elective, not for fetal
anomaly or life endangerment.
(g)
Adverse diagnoses are never foolproof and
can be mistaken or temporary. Abortion is
permanent.

Vote YES
PROP 115
While abortion is always wrong, voting
yes on Prop 115 would end the savage
practice of late pregnancy abortions.

Proposition 115 is on the November 2020
Ballot in Colorado. If passed, it would
prohibit doctors from performing abortions
after 22 weeks' gestation, except in cases
to save the life of the mother. Late-term
abortion is an unnecessary medical procedure
that causes irreparable trauma to both the
mother and baby.
