In order to mitigate the financial issues of Covid-19, Canada has spent more than $15 billion USD on heath and
$185 billion USD on direct payments and foregone revenue.
The key measures to protect jobs include:
• Wage subsidies of up to 75%
• Sick Leave and easier access to Employment Insurance payments
• Support for students and new graduates

Canada's Air borders are closed for all non-
essential travel. Some exemptions exist for
temporary foreign workers, international
students and families of Canadian residents
and citizens. A strict 14 day quarantine is
required on arrival.
