boarding the flight and are subject to a 10 day
quarantine. Some countries, including the UK are
banned.

depending on the area. For the highest level of
restrictions a permit is required to leave home.

The Department of Migration is concerned that after the
pandemic, up to 250K migrants would enter Chile each year
putting local jobs at risk. In response to this, new immigration
laws have been passed to tighten the qualifications required for
entry.
Over 470K residence permits have been granted to
Venezuelans.
