3 Earlier in the Spring we had a very successful small show of Prunella Clough and experimented with a new kind of online 'experience' catalogue. This format allows us to include video, essays and interviews and was very well received. This format is especially suited to solo artist exhibitions. However we still prefer to print catalogues for major shows and will continue to do so. Modern British art continues to do very well internationally and this is encouraging. Do remember that our website holds all the catalogues and newsletters that we produce as well as a comprehensive book store. One thing we have noticed since the lock downs started is a massive increase in demand for the various books and catalogues we have published over the years, to the extent that we have reprinted several including Keith Vaughan and Nevinson, so do check the website if you are interested. We supported the 800th anniversary exhibition at Salisbury Cathedral which was installed just before the first lock down and finally finished in May of this year. The cathedral was used as a vaccination centre so ironically plenty of local people were able to see the collection in situ with major works by Moore, Chadwick, Gormley, Wallinger, Cragg and many others. We lent the Grayson Perry tapestry and the unique Paolozzi Daedalus figure, both are included in this catalogue. A catalogue for that exhibition is available on the website. Looking ahead we do hope that Autumn events will happen as usual, and that should mean the British Art fair at the Saatchi Gallery at the end of September, the first live art fair for a very long time. Following this we will present a very important Henry Moore exhibition, our first for five years. We will launch the show at Frieze Masters from 13-17 October and then at the gallery the week after.
