WorldView Legion
A new era in Earth observation for geospatial intelligence
The WorldView Legion satellites will dramatically
expand our ability to revisit the most rapidly
changing areas on Earth, enabling up to
15 collections per day, tripling our 30 cm class
imaging capacity and drastically increasing
coverage of high-interest areas.
WorldView Legion will occupy sun-synchronous
and mid-inclination orbits to maximize global
coverage and revisit over the majority of the
world's population. The mid-inclination orbit
satellites will allow Maxar to provide collections
from early morning to sunset. This wide array of
collection windows will reveal even more insights
on Earth and provide more powerful monitoring
solutions for our customers.
