monitor the usage of emergency showers.

These sensors monitor whether the valve positions have been turned on or off.

Companies can follow a checklist and receive a notification when a shower has not
been used in the timespan of a week.

By monitoring the frequency use of the shower, has allowed the Chemical and Oil &
Gas industry to increase safety and prevention.

Typically, Oil & Gas facilities have emergency showers and eyewash stations as health
and safety precautions in the case of an accident that involves spilled chemicals.

These showers and eyewash stations do not get used regularly, and therefore the
Legionella bacteria in the water multiplies. The showers should be opened at least
once a week for preventative measures.
