Business value Solution Opportunity ALOXY EMERGENCY SHOWERS AND EYE WASH WITH LoRaWAN ® • Aloxy created the Aloxy Pulse valve monitoring sensor with LoRaWAN ® to better monitor the usage of emergency showers. • These sensors monitor whether the valve positions have been turned on or off. • Companies can follow a checklist and receive a notification when a shower has not been used in the timespan of a week. • By monitoring the frequency use of the shower, has allowed the Chemical and Oil & Gas industry to increase safety and prevention. • Typically, Oil & Gas facilities have emergency showers and eyewash stations as health and safety precautions in the case of an accident that involves spilled chemicals. • These showers and eyewash stations do not get used regularly, and therefore the Legionella bacteria in the water multiplies. The showers should be opened at least once a week for preventative measures. • Aloxy created the Aloxy Pulse valve monitoring sensor with LoRaWAN® to better monitor the usage of emergency showers.
