The COVID-19 pandemic and related business conditions are leading companies to implement digital transformation and process reorganization at a rate that would have been unthinkable six months ago. Organizations are using deep learning models to recommend products, predict pricing, recognize images, and improve decision making as well as for a host of other use cases. Until recently, developing deep learning models took significant amounts of time, effort, and knowledge and required expertise in this field. However, vendors such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) have developed services and tools for deep learning, allowing data scientists and developers (and even business analysts) to experiment, develop, test, and deploy deep learning models into production more quickly and easily than ever before.
