2.5.12. MAC Command(s) in App-Payload and/or Frame Options 1247
These tests ensure a DUT appropriately accepts and processes or discards a downlink whose contents 1248
include one or more MAC commands in the App-Payload (i.e. FRMPayload) and/or the Frame options 1249
(FOpts) portion of the frame. 1250
2.5.12.a. App-Payload Only (FPort = 0) 1251
Perform the test listed below such that all MAC commands are sent to the DUT within the App- 1252
Payload portion of a single downlink. Successful completion of each test indicates the MAC 1253
Command payload is properly decrypted using the Network Session Key and processed by the 1254
DUT. It is up to the DUT to choose how it answers: it can choose either the FOpts field or the 1255
FRMPayload. Some devices for example may use the FRMPayload when the MAC command 1256
answers are larger than the 15 bytes limit of the FOpts field. 1257
