E N T E R P R I S E l CASE STUDY l Customer Profile This long-standing, well-respected global financial services company is one of the largest financial organizations in their region, providing business and consumer banking to millions of customers worldwide. They also provide financial trading and global securities services to institutional investors that include consulting expertise and custodial management. Tens of thousands of employees work across thousands of local branch offices in support of millions of customers throughout their Latin American (LatAm) business region. The digital environment for this banking organization supports customer financial activities through a complex, distributed network of branch offices, automated teller machines (ATM), contact centers, online, and mobile applications. This demands the highest performance in application services to ensure transactions are completed with speed and efficiency. The Challenge Leadership in every banking and financial organization considers delivering quality application performance to be a priority, and this bank is no different. The responsibility falls to the office of the chief technology officer (CTO) and their global communications director to plan, implement, and maintain the network and application assurance management technology. The director's most recent project was to research, evaluate, and implement a new service assurance solution to replace the one currently in use, which was coming to the end of its useful life.
