METHOD
The HR survey was fielded electronically to a sample of active
SHRM members from August 17 to September 8, 2020. In total,
1545 members met eligibility requirements and responded the
survey. The response rate was 3%.
A sample of 1,500 managers and 500 executives were also
surveyed from August 20 to September 9, 2020 via Dynata's
non-probability online panel. For the purposes of this survey,
executives were defined as those working at the vice president
level or above at their organization.
