Schanzenbach Georgene Sommer Sara Marie Trujillo Associate superintendent earns doctorate SISTER of Charity of Leavenworth Elizabeth Youngs, associate superintendent for the Denver Archdiocese's Catholic Schools, traveled to Washington, D.C., May 18 where she was awarded a doctorate of philosophy degree from The Catholic University of America, the national university of the Catholic Church. School Happenings Students in the All Souls Twirling Battalion performed in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade March 16. The team of 25 girls twirl batons, hoops and flag batons as an after school activity in preparation for summer parades. The Englewood school's teacher Regina Hombs directs the battalion. Our Lady of Fatima School of Lakewood ran a stewardship project in honor of two of its student's families—the Hoenmans and Krick family—who received treatment at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora.
