Pucks to the face,
Keep with the pace.
Blood's on the ice,
You'll pay the price.
Down the ice I skate,
The goalie took my bait.
We have hit the pole,
And missed our goal.
Sit on the bench,
On my mind a failed attempt.
Another chance I want,
I'll give it all I've got.
When coaches call my name,
I head into the game.

Shoot with all my power,
Victor y is ours.
Line up to shake,
Victor y is ours to take.
Into the locker room,
No sense of gloom.
Coach announces MVP,
And it isn't me.
Into the car I mope,
Losing all my hope.
I'm falling into bed,
I must sor t out my head.
My thoughts I keep,
As I drif t to sleep.
Determination I feel,
As my thoughts begin to reel.
