We think it's pertinent to identify those that have completed their CIT recertification exam in 2022! The 45 individuals below demonstrated commitment to maintaining their professional designation as a Certified Ice Technician in 2022. U.S. Ice Rinks thanks them for their ongoing support and dedication to fur- thering the principle of professionalism in the ice sports industry. It was easy to do and the materials provided were a great refresher for everything I learned in class so many years ago." Robert Rode General Manager, Stamford Twin Rinks "Frankly, I was a bit anxious when I found out I had to be recertified. Were they going to make me draw an ice plant with a blank piece of paper? I found the process to be easy and refreshing. A few weeks before the test, John sends you study paperwork which has recent incidents in the industry, reminders about energy, preventative maintenance, etc. On test day, you sign-in to the zoom call and take the test which is multiple choice, true/false, and some written questions. John guides you through the process which makes it painless. Thankfully, no ice plants to draw out! Keeping your knowledge refreshed is crucial to those around you." Kelly Johnson Associate Director, Recreation, Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion "I took my CIT Recertification exam in the Spring of 2022. I had held off for a couple of years because I don't like taking tests and thought I wouldn't do well. U.S. Ice Rink Association sends you a link with self-study materials, easy-to-read articles and informa- tional videos. The materials break down the test into manageable study guides that make taking the test easier." They Said It
