Why downlink decode function is needed? Is not the encoded data to be sent to the device? The encoded data is sent directly to the device, however, the decodeDownlink function may be present when a device supports downlinks to ease the monitoring and logs of downlink sent. 16. Codec ID is unique identifier for codec in use? The combination of vendor ID and codec ID is unique among all devices supported by LoRa Alliance.
