This represents an increase of 7.4%. ‾ Unemployment in Western Australia is 3.6% in Greater Perth and 2.1% in the Rest of WA. ‾ 14% of employment in WA is in the Public Sector. ‾ While Public Sector employment is 8% higher than in November last year, there were 13K more jobs in August than November. ‾ There were 62K vacancies across Western Australia of which ~7% were in the Public Sector. ‾ Year on Year inflation to the December quarter was 8.3% in Perth which is higher than the Australian Capital City weighted average of 7.8%.
