Education Background and Business Experience: Year of Birth: 1962 Professional designations held: NA Formal education after high school: Roger Messina earned his degree with honors from Monmouth University. Business Background: Mr. Messina works in the Oaks office. Roger Messina serves as Vice President and Managing Director of the Institutional Group's Client Portfolio Management Team. He has direct responsibility for the Client Portfolio Management Team in North America which includes the following business segments: Corporate, Healthcare, Multiemployer, and Non-profit markets. His team is responsible for the delivery and execution of the entire client experience. In his preceding role, he held a leadership role within the Institutional Group on the National Accounts Team and was directly responsible for client development. Roger Messina is a founding member of the Institutional Group and began his career with SEI in 1991. Prior to his employment with SEI, he spent five years as a Vice President with the investment firm of Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith in New York. There, he was responsible for pension and 401(k) sales to the Fortune 500 market. Before that role, he was with the investment banking firm of Drexel Burnham Lambert, responsible for sales and marketing throughout the country. Disciplinary Information: SIMC is required to disclose any material facts regarding any legal or disciplinary events that would materially impact a client's evaluation of Roger Messina. No events have occurred that are applicable to this item. Other Business Activities: SIMC is required to disclose any outside business activity or occupation for compensation that could potentially create a conflict of interest with clients. Roger Messina is not actively engaged in any such activities. Additional Compensation: Members of the Institutional Group receive a salary and regular incentive compensation (which may include stock options), they may also receive event compensation based on SIMC's receipt of new assets through client referrals. Supervision: Institutional management is supervised by Paul Klauder, Executive Vice President and Institutional Group Team Leader.
