Enhanced innovation: 83% of digitally advanced organizations in Taiwan introduced new, innovative products in the last two years, compared to 64% of their less-digital counterparts. Power of the cloud: Taiwanese organizations running most of their business on the cloud boasted innovation rates 21 percentage points higher than organizations that use the cloud for some or none of their business (87% vs. 66%), and were 28 points more likely to experience steady revenue growth (62% vs. 34%). Remote work: 69% of Taiwanese employers feel their employees need more training in digital skills in order to work remotely, but just 27% have already started investing in additional training for their employees. Talent shortage: 80% of Taiwanese organizations say digital skills will be very important or extremely important for their business over the next five years, and 70% are looking to fill openings that require digital skills. Methodology: Gallup surveyed just over 30,000 workers with access to the internet in Taiwan and 18 other major countries and regions that account for 67% of the total value that jobs requiring advanced digital skills add to the global economy.
