By far, the largest gaps are in making contingent workers feel included and supported: More than 80% of workers said feeling included is important, but only 43% of managers gave high ratings to their companies' capabilities in that area. When it came to feeling supported, 72% of workers said it was important, but only 47% of managers said their companies were providing the necessary support. 0% 10% 20% 30% 40% 50% 60% 80% 70% 90% Contingent workers expect far more inclusion and support than managers provide % of workers saying it's important to feel this way at work, and % of managers saying their organization makes workers feel this way Included* Supported* Successful* Trusted* Belonging* Respected* Average across all factors within each area, based on those selecting 7-10 on ten-point scale.
