However, the employment increase of 15K in Greater Sydney was offset by a by a similar decrease in the rest of NSW. ‾ Public Sector employment is similar to the '22 q a 3 w on a '22 ‾ There were 145K vacancies across NSW of which ~10% were in the Public Sector. ‾ Despite a drop in Construction & Manufacturing employment since February 2020. it remains the largest industry employer. Health & Social Care is the next largest industry employer – since February 2020, employment in this industry has increased by 10%. ‾ Year on Year inflation to the March quarter was 7.3% in Sydney which is slightly higher than the Australian Capital City weighted average of 7.0%.
