About Issues
Issues are any potential events that can have a potential financial or schedule impact on your project. The Kahua Issues
application enables you to easily log, track and manage issues on your project. Integrated with the Cost Management
suite, Issues are used as a precursor for any change requests and change orders that might be issued.
Kahua has multiple Issues extensions for our Standard Offering: Kahua for Owner, Kahua for Owner Education (K-12).
Your demo site is utilizing the Kahua for Owner Issue extension.
Users will be able to:
Initiate an Issue from other apps such as RFIs, Punch Lists, etc. (see diagram below)
Create one or many items within an Issue. An issue can include multiple contractors / vendors.
Use workflow to gather pricing from contractors and vendors
Use workflow to review and or obtain approvals
Tracking projected, pending, and approved potential changes
Process the issue into other cost documents (see diagram below)
Processing
Issues can be initiated from other applications such as RFIs, Punch Lists, etc. Issues can then be escalated to other
applications like Change Requests and Change Orders. The diagram below shows the processing options to and from
Issues.
