CONTINGENCY DAYS
It took two days of Contingency and Tech Inspections to get through every one of the 335 entries for this year’s 56th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by K&N. Starting in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico, racers, vehicles and teams lined up to speak with SCORE emcees Rat Sult and Gabriel Garcia. The Malecon (or downtown center) across from the Sea of Cortez, was the setting for Contingency and a historical race start on a 1310.94 mile long race up the Baja Peninsula. The interviews and live streamed video coverage over the two days of Contingency were available across SCORE’s website, Facebook Page, and YouTube Channel.
