RACE RUMORS Information that culminated at press time. Dan and Andy McMillin Teaming Up? Information spread about Dan McMillin teaming up with Andy McMillin for the 2024 SCORE season. For the SCORE San Felipe 250 Dan McMillin is the Driver of Record and has no co-driver listed so perhaps Andy will be present during other races this season. In a statement, Andy McMillin says they aren’t at liberty to talk publicly about it and would let SCORE know once things have been finalized or not. APDALY LOPEZ RETURNS WITH BRENTHEL Apdaly Lopez will be one of the top drivers for the Brenthel racing team during this season. It is now known however, it it will be in the SCORE Trophy Truck or Trophy Truck Spec Classes. ARTURO SALAS JR. RIDES WITH HERO The Hero Racing moto team announced that Arturo Salas Jr. will be the team’s Rider of Record racing the No. 11x motorcycle throughout the 2024 SCORE Season Australians Migrating North Mick Magher has heard about fellow Australians Toby Price and Paul Weel with their racing exploits in SCORE. Magher says he lives about 20-hours from these two racers and wanted to begin racing in SCORE himself. He plans to run a new TSCO truck this season but at press time has not yet registered. New Ride For Larry Roeseler SCORE Legend Larry Roeseler will be racing with Clay Lawrence in the No. 85L truck sponsored by Lawrernce Equipment and 1 Nine Industries. The Eddy Racing Family Legacy Austin Eddy and his cousin Connor Eddy will be racing in SCORE Pro Moto Unlimited as the 9x team. Austin is the son of Baja moto champion Matt Eddy and nephew of Max Eddy Jr. ( also Baja moto champion and now SCI Factory Polaris Team driver). Connor Eddy is the son of Max Jr. Their grandfather, Max Eddy Sr. is also a former Baja moto champion. Youngsters Behind The Wheel Reports have two young racers entering into the SCORE San Felipe 250. Eva Star Mantalban from El Cajon, California is 16 and will be racing in the SCORE Pro UTV N/A Class. Ethan Groom is 17 from Temecula, California and will also be racing in this class, but as of press-time has not yet registered. E-Motos Racing Christian Kline from Austin, Texas will be competing at the SCORE San Felipe 250 in the Pro Baja E-Moto class. The Zero Motorcycle will carry the E400 number. Broc Dickerson Returns After some time away from racing last season, Broc Dickerson is returning to race in the SCORE Trophy Truck class with a new Alumicraft 2WD truck touting the No. 34. Pro Moto Adventure Class SCORE’s newest Rally Moto Class called Pro Moto ADV (Adventure Class), has a Contingency program by KOVE USA Motorcycles. The company is offering $1000 to the first five racers to sign up for the 2024 SCORE San Felipe 250 race on a KOVE 450 Rally motorcycle. KOVE is also offering cash awards in each of the four races this season, to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in this Pro ADV Class, regardless of the brand moto they are riding on. First place in class will receive $2500, $1000 for second place, and $500 for third.
