The project began five years ago in partnership with the City of Loveland and has 54 fully equipped units and plenty of useful inside and outside common space. Importantly, St. Valentine is not just a housing complex; it's a comprehensive solution to address the challenging issues faced by the homeless population. WELD COUNTY In a community where the need for affordable housing is a pressing concern, Immaculata Plaza is filled with 30 turn-key-ready units for seniors seeking comfort within their means. Located adjacent to the existing 25-unit Catholic Charities Housing property on the Immaculata Plaza campus, the expansive space has quickly become a haven for seniors who call the property home. WESTERN SLOPE The Glenwood Springs City Council has given the green light to Catholic Charities Housing's newest housing initiative for senior residents – The Benedict, a 34-unit building that will be completed in the second half of 2025. The $23 million project features a four-story building that will be constructed on a half-acre lot in the heart of Glenwood Springs. During the January 2024 City Council meeting, Patricia Leonetti, a 93-year-old resident, pleaded for the facility's construction, emphasizing its necessity in Glenwood Springs. DENVER Catholic Charities Housing is on track to open Denver's newest affordable housing development for seniors later this year. Located on the All Saints Catholic Church campus, the four-story building broke ground last September will house more than 60 seniors in need of affordable housing. An interest list is open now and qualifying seniors are encouraged to visit ccdenver.org/housing to learn more.
