Samuel Palmer reminds us of the beauty of the
Darent Valley – I live in Wilmington near Dartford
where the hustle and bustle of modern day life,
with its transport and industry seeming to take
centre stage and I sometimes forget about the
stillness and peace we can find just a short walk
away in the countryside. The rolling low hills, and
the lush green patchwork of the countryside, the
fruit of the land inspires me and others.
