(Page 6) • LoRaWAN Live: San Francisco, a LoRa Alliance-sponsored event open to the public, included: - The first in-person Pre-certification Testing Event - Two full days of Face-to-Face Committee Member Meetings - Full day of technical training with four workshops (Page 17) MARKETING COMMITTEE 2022 was a year that showcased the global impact of LoRaWAN ® . Companies deployed LoRaWAN in more industries, innovated its application, and created efficiencies that positively impacted businesses and people's lives. Where we used to hear people ask "what is LoRaWAN?", we are now hearing them ask "how" it can be used in specific solutions. Whether in markets related to buildings, cities, utilities, agriculture, manufacturing, or logistics, people want to know how to select from LoRaWAN network options; how to add more use cases; how many gateways are necessary; how to incorporate LoRaWAN into existing infrastructure, and how to find solutions and partners. Throughout 2022, LoRa Alliance ® members developed and presented materials that drove and supported this shift in market awareness and resonated with technology decision-makers.
