What A Race! The 57th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 race was an amazing display of persistence for finishers and great losses for those who could not continue. The Baja desert handed out a spanking to competitors, allowing less than half to finish the race. But those that persevered came home with big wins to finish off the season. The race was as exciting to watch on SCORE's live stream and social media, sharing information and data as it happened. Things such as the team of Bryce Menzies and Chris Polvoorde, out only 30+ miles into the race were heartbreaking. Watching Luke McMillin and Rob MacCachren winning yet another SCORE Baja 1000 was amazing! How about Gus Vildosola Sr, getting his 12th win in a row? Or, a stacked SCORE Pro Moto Ironman class that had Moto fans on the edge of their seats as they watched Chilean Patricio Cabrera walk away with the win. These and much more are covered in this month's Race Rewind issue. It was a pleasure for our SCORE Journal team and me to get exclusive interviews and bring you the full background stories on a variety of class winners and important events before and after the race. Although this was an exciting end to the 2024 SCORE World Desert Championship season, there's much more news and announcements to come for the 2025 Season that are even more exciting.
