Instructions:
The following Physical Demands Description (PDD) is meant to provide an example of a completed report
for the job of "Picker" in a Warehouse or Wholesale Distribution Centre using an electric pallet truck. You
may use this report as an example and customize it to the demands of your job(s), specifically the essential
tasks, weights, frequencies, reaching distances, type of equipment used, shifts, personal protective equipment,
etc. Include photos from your facility to provide a visual overview and supplement the descriptions.
Each job at your facility should have a separate PDD to describe the physical requirements based on
the tasks and equipment used. For more information on how to complete this form refer to the Physical
