Gus Vildosola Sr As Grand Marshal SCORE Trophy Truck Legend Champion Gus Vildosola Sr. has agreed to be the Grand Marshal for the 38th King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250. Racing since 1968, Vildosola has numerous wins in a variety of classes including the SCORE Trophy Truck class. But it wasn’t until he began racing in the SCORE Trophy Truck Legends Class in 2022, that he began racking up more back-to-back race wins and Class Championships. To date, Vildosola Sr. has broken records by winning 12-strait SCORE races in this class and in doing so gained a three-time Class Championship, with co-driver and legendary racer, Ricky Johnson. At the 38th King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250, Vildosola Sr. will be doing double duty as Grand Marshal and driving during the race in hopes of a 13th victory and a fourth Class Championship at the end of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship Season. Jackson’s Nate Hunt Transitions To Michelin North America Jackson Motorsports Group’s Off-Road Racing Program Manager, Nate Hunt, has moved over to Michelin North America to become BFGoodrich Tire’s Series and Sales Manager. “I am excited for the challenge and look forward to start working with a great team of people,” says Hunt. “I’ll still be working closely with my Jackson Motorsports friends.  I would like to personally thank Jackson for all that I have experienced working for them over the past 20 years.” SCORE Journal TRAXXAS Winner Tyler Peterson of Canyon Lake, California is the latest winner in SCORE Journal Magazine’s Subscription Giveaways. Fox Offers $300K In Cash And Credit Starting with SCORE San Felipe 250 Fox Motorsport’s new contingency plan for the SCORE 2025 season begins with a a $300K Cash (75%) and Credit (25%) payout for any Pro Truck and Car that places first, second, and third place Overall Finishers running on Fox shocks. At the SCORE San Felipe 250, first Overall gets $20K, $10K for second Overall and $5K for third Overall. In addition, winners in EACH of these classes, Class 1, TT Spec, Pro UTV Open, Pro UTF FI, get $5000. Winners in these classes, Class 10, Class ½-1600 and Class 11 will each receive $2,500. All other Pro Car/Truck class winners will receive $250 in credit. To be eligible, vehicles must run on Fox Shocks with Fox Factory reservoirs decals intact, and must also run a 7” Fox logo contingency decal on both sides of the vehicle. Polaris Offer $105K In Contingency Payouts For the SCORE 2025 Season, Polaris is offering Cash Payouts for each of the four SCORE races in the UTV Overall Class. At the SCORE San Felipe 250, $10K for first place, $5K for second, and $2,500 for third place. At the SCORE Baja 500, $15K for first, 10K second, and $5k for third place. At the SCORE Baja 400, $10K for first place, $5K for second, and $2,500 for third place. At the SCORE Baja 1000, $25K for first, $10K for second, and $5k for third place.
