Recommendations and Solutions
1. Heat/Sun Exposure
Working indoors or outdoors in hot and humid
environments (such as a kitchen or outside
leading sporting activities) can result in an
increase in body temperature. If there is too
great a rise in internal body temperature,
a worker is at risk of developing illnesses
ranging from rashes, cramps and fatigue, to
collapse and possibly death. Exposure to
ultraviolet radiation can contribute to sun
burns and sun stroke.
