July 4,1776, marked a monumental
victory for the American Continental
Army, 249 years ago. The only nation in
history with an unchanged law of the
land, the Constitution of the United
States of America has been fought over
by politicians but never changed! It's
been attacked by other nations but
never defeated! First John 5:4 in the
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition says it
all:
4 FOR WHATEVER IS BORN OF GOD IS
VICTORIOUS OVER THE WORLD; AND
THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT CONQUERS
THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH.
Don't stop there. Look at verse 5,
AMPC:
5 WHO IS IT THAT IS VICTORIOUS OVER
[THAT CONQUERS] THE WORLD BUT HE
WHO BELIEVES THAT JESUS IS THE SON
OF GOD [WHO ADHERES TO, TRUSTS IN,
AND RELIES ON THAT FACT]?
That, dear Partner, is you and me. The
Book you and I are reading is heaven's
unchangeable constitution! The Author
said of Himself in Malachi 3:6, AMPC:
6 FOR I AM THE LORD, I DO NOT
CHANGE; THAT IS WHY YOU, O SONS OF
JACOB, ARE NOT CONSUMED.
Jehovah is the proper name of the One,
true God: "I AM THE LORD! I CHANGE
NOT!" You and I know Him as Jesus, the
Son of the ONE, AND ONLY, TRUE GOD!
I know you've heard me say this many
times in letters and on the BVOV
broadcasts: "Every believer has a voice,
and it's the voice of VICTORY!" That voice
comes up out of our spirits, into our hearts,
and then into our mouths, saying, "Greater
is He who is in me than he who is in the
world." Who is the Greater ONE? First
John 4:4 says, "Ye are of God, little
children, and have overcome them:
because greater is he that is in you, than
he that is in the world." Now let's look at it
in the AMPC: "Little children, you are of
God [you belong to Him] and have
[already] defeated and overcome them
[the agents of the antichrist], because He
Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than
he who is in the world."
Then go to Acts 2:1-4, AMPC:
1 AND WHEN THE DAY OF PENTECOST
HAD FULLY COME, THEY WERE ALL
ASSEMBLED TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE,
2 WHEN SUDDENLY THERE CAME A
SOUND FROM HEAVEN LIKE THE
RUSHING OF A VIOLENT TEMPEST BLAST,
AND IT FILLED THE WHOLE HOUSE IN
