Our student support tent-pole remains being able to provide an all-inclusive, three- day symposium experience for over 200 students to date. This experience gives them a hands-on, student-only lab experience, as well as focused networking time with the 300 veterinarians in attendance. This experience is provided at no cost to students, allowing them to come, learn, and create community to further their career in equine veterinary medicine. Additionally, we continue to give Equine Experience Scholarships bi-annually and have established endowed scholarships at Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, and Louisiana State. In 2025, Development Director Pete Hale began a program for development called "Industry Alliance Partners" for the Texas Equine Foundation. This program requires a $5,000 per year commitment for industry leaders to commit to supporting our mission for a three year minimum. We have seen tremendous support from industry leaders such as: Granada Farms, Johnny and Jana Trotter, Larry and Beverley Jacobs, Quarter Horse News, Dr. Kurt Harris, Dr. and Mrs. Mike Martin, and Tyler and Naia Graham. We are excited in the growth of this program to continue the great work TEF is invested in to extend our mission. 2025 has been a wildly successful year, and we look forward to the next year — we hope you will join us!
