A Message from the Point PRESIDENT MICHELLE BESSIRE DVM, DABVP Greetings TEVA Members, Summer is here—and it's easily my favorite season for so many reasons! For me, it's a time to slow down and enjoy more moments with family, and, of course, it also means it's time for one of the best parts of the year—our TEVA Summer Symposium. This year, we're heading back to our roots—returning to the beautiful Horseshoe Bay in Marble Falls, July 31–August 2. This special location is where our meeting first began, and it holds a lot of meaning for many of us. If you haven't registered yet, I encourage you to do so—we'd love to see you there. We've planned an incredible experience with something for everyone—a top-notch lineup of speakers, social opportunities, and fun activities like golf and fishing. It's truly my favorite event of the year, not just because of the learning, but because it's one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to meet new people and build lasting connections within our TEVA community. We also recently wrapped up our Boutique Meeting, which was specially designed with new practitioners in mind. The focus was practical, hands-on learning, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. It's exciting to see newer members getting involved, and we hope that momentum continues to grow. If you're new to TEVA, know that your voice matters and there's a place for you here—whether you want to attend, contribute, or lead. We have a great season ahead, and I hope you'll take full advantage of everything TEVA has to offer. Thank you for being part of this vibrant and supportive professional family. Warm regards, Michelle Bessire, DVM, ABVP-Equine TEVA President PAGE 5 | FROM THE POINT
