DENVER CATHOLIC | AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2025
A LIFETIME OF SERVICE
For decades, our priests have walked
with us through every season of life—
baptizing our children, celebrating
our marriages, comforting us in grief,
and leading us in the Eucharist.
They've answered God's call to serve,
often making great personal sacrifices
to care for our souls. Now, in their
retirement years, they deserve our
care, gratitude, and support.
In the Archdiocese of Denver, we
currently have more than 50 retired
priests. Eleven live at Prophet Elijah
House, a priest retirement home
based on the archdiocese campus.
We are so grateful for your help, but
with the rising cost of living, our priests
rely on your support to ensure that
they have a adequate quality of life.
